Floor to Ceiling Cabinetry
Choosing to devote an entire wall in your kitchen to cabinetry is a great way to make the most of smaller spaces. But don’t fear, this doesn’t mean you can’t still have a stylish kitchen!
Floor to ceiling cabinets can be used as a backdrop for other elements. We suggest using majority of your kitchen space for storage and appliances, but also adding some open shelves and a window in place of your splash back to highlight your personal style and increase the natural lighting in your kitchen.
Integrated Appliances
Another useful advantage of wall-to-wall kitchen cabinets is the opportunity they provide when incorporating appliances. Integrated kitchen appliances will sit embedded within your cabinets and can be used in any kitchen style and size, from modern through to traditional designs.
Integrated appliances are great for space saving as they only take up the room that would have been used by cupboards, which makes them particularly effective for kitchens where both floor and surface area is limited. They are also a great way to keep your space looking sleek and stylish while maximising your kitchen layout at the same time.
Overhang Your Bench
Your kitchen island is the perfect place to interact with guests and can be utilised as a second dining option when enjoying a quick meal or afternoon beverage. If you’re tight for space, we recommend matching the clearance of your seating to the height of your countertop so that your bench is slightly overhung. This approach will allow your legs to fit comfortably beneath the bench top and for your stools to be tucked neatly underneath the bench when they are not in use, allowing for a more sleek and tidy aesthetic.
