We believe building on a budget doesn’t mean you should compromise on choice or quality. That’s a FAQ.
We’re passionate about giving you the freedom to create a home that perfectly complements your lifestyle.
By developing clever design solutions, we can help you make the most of your money – which means genuine value in every square metre.
With innovative building design & techniques, we can deliver two-storey homes for the same price as other single-storey home designs.
For the environment and your budget, you should be able to minimise energy costs, that’s why all 101 homes have minimum 6 star energy rating.
We want you to feel secure in the build quality of your home, so all our homes have a transferrable lifetime structural guarantee.
How do you come up with the names for 101′s new display homes?
What’s in a name? Well, once you’re living in your perfect home you may not mind what it’s called – but we try hard to name our homes with themes that are relevant to our ethos. Currently, we’re naming our houses after mountain ranges, which is significant to us because it represents something beautiful and inspiring. Why not reach higher for that perfect home? We strive every day to go above and beyond – we just don’t wear hiking boots and backpacks!
Who should I contact if I’m interested in building with 101?

What makes the construction of 101 homes different?
We use the MasterWall external wall system, which is specifically designed to be long-lasting, energy efficient and quick to build.
What is MasterWall made of?
MasterWall is lightweight, reinforced, insulated polystyrene that’s mechanically fitted to the outer face of the building; timber or steel framing. The complete system includes the application of acrylic render systems, frame wraps, trims, sealants and flashings to openings that combine to create a weather-tight building envelope.
How long has MasterWall technology been around?
Over 60 years! MasterWall entered the WA market in 2011, but it has been used successfully and extensively in Europe and North America for over 60 years.
How does MasterWall work?
MasterWall gives you the ultimate thermal insulation. Traditional insulation in between studs has ‘thermal gaps’, places where heat and cold pass more freely between the outdoors and space within. By wrapping the house in a seamless thermal envelope, it stabilises the interior environment and therefore reduces the energy consumption of the home. Put simply, this type of innovative construction reduces your carbon footprint, as its high thermal value means its thermal efficiency gives large energy savings in winter and summer.
Why is MasterWall different – are there other benefits besides thermal efficiency?
MasterWall has many benefits. It’s one of the reasons why we can build homes with a second storey for the same cost as other single-storey homes, as construction time is dramatically reduced. Many of our second storeys are built in the MasterWall factory, further reducing build time and installation time. So it’s cost effective, as well as being environmentally efficient. Another significant benefit is that the construction timeframes are not being affected by a lack of tradespeople.
Can I vary the designs?
Absolutely! This is your new home – we’ll work with you to create a design that perfectly suits your needs and importantly, your budget. Just speak to your sales consultant and they’ll help you design your ideal home.
Do I get charged to vary the designs?
There are charges for making variations to the floorplans; they are worked out on case-by-case basis.
