For this project, we worked closely with our client to design a spacious double storey home in Perth that allowed them to downsize their block without compromising on internal space.
After living on a 2000sqm property that had become increasingly difficult to maintain, they were ready for a home that offered freedom, flexibility and a more manageable lifestyle.
Project Overview
The Vision
Having previously lived on a larger property, our clients knew exactly what they did not want to carry forward into their next chapter – extensive lawns and ongoing maintenance.
Their priority was to reduce the size of their block while still building a home that felt substantial and future-proof. They wanted a double storey home that provided enough space for both mother and daughter to comfortably work from home.
At the same time, the outdoor space needed to be simpler and easy to manage. They wanted to create a home suited to lock and leave.
The Build
Our team at 101 Residential worked closely with the clients to bring their vision to life, designing a generous double storey home that maximised internal space while keeping the external areas very low maintenance.
The design focused on simplicity. Instead of large lawns and high maintenance landscaping, the backyard features a pool and a compact alfresco area.
Every design decision was made with the lock and leave lifestyle in mind, balancing spacious interiors with a practical, low maintenance exterior.
